Seniors Margaret Messersmith and Chelsey Troutman met for their final class of PE 291 this past Tuesday. Throughout the semester, instructor Mark Ervin has taught the students several simple and practical self-defense techniques to help them avoid becoming a victim of assault. Along with learning side thrust kicks and palm strikes, Margaret and Chelsey also developed the self-confidence to feel safe and empowered when on their own.
