Several friends and I have had conversations about television shows and my difficulty to get engrossed/sit still long enough to watch a series such as the Walking Dead or Breaking Bad Think thats about to change… tntdrama/series/mob-city/ When it comes to the law in 1947 Los Angeles, things are far from black and white — as evidenced in the latest promo for TNT’s well-pedigreed noir drama Mob City. Adapted by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead) from the acclaimed book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City, the three-week/six-hour series boasts a cast that included Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes), Neal McDonough (Justified), Alexa Davalos (Reunion), Jeffrey DeMunn (The Walking Dead), Gregory Itzin (24), Robert Knepper (Prison Break), Jeremy Luke (Don Jon) and Ed Burns (playing Bugsy Siegel). Mob City surveys the “high rises and low lifes” of 1940s L.A., warning mobsters such as Siegel and Mickey Cohen that while they may think they own the town, the town in fact owns them. also A&E has a Bonnie and Clyde miniseries scheduled as well. If anyone needs me Ill be parked in front of the TV in December ;)
