Shabir lays foundation of HS building Hatansari Says public service is one point agenda of Government Rajouri, October 28:- Minister of State for Health, Mr Shabir Ahmad today laid foundation of High School Building at Hatansari, a remotest village in Rajouri District. The construction work of this High School building would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 39.60 lakh which would provide adequate accommodation to the students with laboratory and library facilities. Addressing a public meeting after laying foundation, the Minister said that expansion of educational infrastructure besides providing higher and job oriented education to the students at their door steps has received focused attention of the government. He said number of new educational institutions with thrust on job oriented courses opened especially in remote and hilly areas during last over four years in the State. Shabir said up gradation and improvement under core sectors has received also keen attention of the government and added that at present all most all villages have better basic amenities. He said a Health Center would be opened in Hatahsari village very soon. The Minister said that that a project report of Rs 7crore has been mooted to centre for construction of 2nd phase of Gambair MUghalan- Hatansari road under PMGSY for funding. He said to upgrade the power infrastructure in the area a project report of Rs 1.10 crore also submitted to the Centre under R-APDRP for approval of funds. He said 8 transformers of different capacity have already installed in the area under RGGVY. Reiterating the commitment of the coalition government for solidarity, brotherhood, equitable and inclusive development of all the regions and sub-regions of the State and bringing political stability to ensure peace and prosperity, the Minister said that public service is the one point agenda of the government and asked the panches and sarpanches to continue their efforts for bringing permanent peace in the State and ensuring all round development. “You should reach out to people in all the areas , telling them about the historic initiatives taken by coalition government in the State for empowering common people, restoring peace and stability and moving forward on road towards economic prosperity”, he told them saying that they have a large list of achievements before them achieved by the Government in all the sectors in the State during the four and a half years to calculate with and making masses aware of the policy programmes of government for peace and development and political stability in Jammu and Kashmir. Repeating the importance of peace in the process of sustained development and economic prosperity, Shabir said that some elements are bent upon putting wedge between various sections of the society and creating hatred to disturb tranquillity for their vested interests. He asked the people to uphold the secular characteristic and strengthen the pluralistic fabric in the State. Meanwhile, The Minister inspected series of on-going developmental projects during his extensive tour of the area. He inspected pace of progress of under execution Rs 7crore Gambair Mughalan- Hatansari 11 KMs road. He was apprised that so far Rs 5.50 crore has been incurred on this road. He also inspected the under construction Rs 45 lakh Light motor bridge at PHC Gambbair Mughalan, of which Rs 15 lakh have been spent so far. The Minister called upon the Executing agencies to ensure time bound completion of all on-going projects in the area for early benefits of the people. He also instructed concerned authorities to formulate action plans of new works in the area well in time so that these may be incorporated in next year plan.
