Shahid Rehman shared Dildar Ahmed Qazis status. 2 hours - TopicsExpress

Shahid Rehman shared Dildar Ahmed Qazis status. 2 hours ago Qazi Saheb, interesting indeed ! Also,a very positive and progressive development for Pakistan. I dont call this a rebellious spark. This had to happen. Read on. As I have stated before too,one positive development from the political upheaval of the past few weeks has been, the very vibrant response of the public. Thanks to,first the media. Second, cellular networks and their service facilitation to every nook and corner of the country. Not to forget, social media. The most impressive aspect is,everyone from a person in their teens to the eldest citizen,is now aware of everything political, politicians, political class and their shenanigans. Also of bureaucracy, civil and military. Aside from all other information they access from the internet,Google. Those, who do not have access to luxuries of the media, have picked up dandas. I am seeing now young people discussing wealthof Pakistanis, focused on rulers of the day and their cronies. Corruption of the officer class,in uniform, out of uniform. I am seeing people discuss merits-demerits of rule by civil, military, political class. I am seeing people discuss economy, poverty, education, health, communications, infrastructure, culture, traditions, religion and so on. This shows,Pakistanis have finally woken up to what is happening around them. Now,they need to straighten these things out and work, improve their environment. For that to happen, change is what they are looking at,which empowers them with tools to bring the needed reforms. This the next step which they will pursue. Hopefully. However,to their bad luck, the political class, specially those from yester-years do not look at the overall picture from the same platform as the new Pakistani is looking at and want to change. Sadly, the political class is in a time-warp of three decades ago. They just do not want to share power.Nor bring about the change the new Pakistanis want. This is unfortunate. The writing on the wall is very clear to those sitting in the assemblies,as you can see from yesterdays proceedings, and to future political aspirants, that, they are now dealing with a new Pakistan, not only are but have to also. Till this mindset of status of thirty-fifty years ago does not go away from the heads of all stake-holders,be they politicians,military-civil officers/bureaucrats or civil-society ,the mayhem we are seeing on the streets of Pakistan will continue. KUDOS TO THE NEW PAKISTANIS !! SR. Dildar Qazi wrote : A very interesting point that I have personally learnt from the present Political fiasco standoff or whatever you like to call it.It is very heartening to know that most Controllers now old young men have not lost the rebellious spark. Friends like Mehboob Mahboob E Siddiqui , Muazzam Ali Sheikh , Sabza Ali Jiwani, Zarrar Zarar Sheikh, Akhtar Khattak and many others are adding a lot of colour though somewhat biased but it really is heartening to see their commitment. Had it happened in our younger days we all would have ended up in trouble for participating in Political Activities that too so actively. Keep at it we may yet see change soon. Happy Tidings. 1 ShareLikeLike · · Share
