Shanghai Futures Exchange copper fell on Monday July 8 as positive US payrolls data stoked fears about tapering of the US Federal Reserve’s bond buying programme. The SHFE November copper settled at 48,740 yuan ($7,871) per tonne, 740 yuan lower than the previous settle. “Better-than-expected jobs data confirmed that the US economy is on the right track to recovery and market expectation of Fed scaling back monetary stimulus increased,” an analyst..
