Sharing from the Heart: In light of Christians in Iraq dying for their faith, I am searching my own heart and evaluating my own faith. Will I be able and willing to die for Christ? To a question like this, I am so quick to answer yes. Probably because there is no chance of this happening to me in the context of where and how I live. But what about to the question, Am I willing to risk rejection and the approval by others by sharing Christ with people at least once a week (in light of the gospel that I profess and believe)? To be honest, the crickets are chirping. Additional thought: would I do it if someone paid me a $1000 each time I shared my faith? And how frequently would I share? Would I be more than willing to risk rejection and the approval of men to share Christ with others if money was involved? I am too embarrassed to answer this question. Something is not right :(
