Sharing this because I know there are many of you who have a story and could use this in your lives right now. If I could I would share each of your stories! But since I cant Im encouraging all of you to think about someone in your life and see if you can help Pay it Forward. Really feeling like its time for a Pay It Forward. Our daughter Maddie spent the day in urgent care yesterday and was up half the night trying to breathe. It reminded me of our time at Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. We were lucky enough to only need to visit, not stay, but the outpouring of love and support we received during that time still overwhelms me. So many people have done so much for us in the past year and a half. Theres no way I could pay everyone back individually, but I decided there might be a way to better express how I feel. Id like to take this opportunity to run a little contest. The prize is one session of your choice. Any session. Heres the catch: you have to NEED this. You can nominate yourself or someone else. Did you recently adopt a child? Did you have a baby or are you expecting with a partner who is deployed? Do you have a child with a serious illness? Did you get lose all your family photos in a fire, flood or other tragedy? Are you planning a wedding and not hiring a photographer because theres no way to afford one? Maybe youve been married a while and never got wedding photos. I *know* you have a story! Send me your stories. The deadline for submissions is March 24th at 11:59 pm PST. We will put it to a vote here on the page for one week. As an extra thank you, anyone who participates in the Pay It Forward event can take 30% off any session of their choice.
