Sharing this from my personal page. Maybe it will encourage others to pay it forward as well! Adam and I took the kids shopping today. We were at Wal-Mart paying for our items and an older man came and was standing behind the cashier asking us if Adam and I were together and these were our kids. After I confirmed that they were and our bill was totaled, he handed the cashier a decent chunk of money and said to her I want to pay $XXX amount of money towards their bill. Adam, myself and the cashier in total shock asked him why, and his response was Merry Christmas! What a complete surprise and shock! We then explained to our kids what had happened and told them now we need to find a creative way to pay it forward this holiday season. Thank you to that generous man for your generosity and for giving us the encouragement to pay it forward to another person.
