"She believed in me when all others disbelieved; she held me truthful when others called me a liar; she sheltered me when others abandoned me; she comforted me when others shunned me; and Allah (SWT) granted me children by her while depriving me of children by other women." These words of the Holy Prophet (saww) always make me feel choked up with tears. They make me realize how precious a love he and bibi Khadija (sa) shared and how deeply melancholy the death of his best friend, his beloved spouse had made him. How utterly sad he was that he named the year she and his great benefactor hazrat Abu Talib a.s passed away as "Aam-ul-Huzn" the year of sorrow/grief. Ya Rasulah we shudder with grief at the thought of you shedding tears from your blessed eyes at the loss of your beloved. We offer to you our heartfelt condolences our dear messenger of Allah swt and to your dear daughter bibi Fatema (a.s) who cried inconsolably for her mother on this fateful day. Today the house of the Ahlulbayt (a.s) is in mourning and our Imam Zamana (ajtf) sheds tears. Accept our condolences ya Imam. We share in your grief and mourn the loss of our mother, umul mumineen, May Allah swt shower blessings upon her for her service to Islam AMEEN
