She wrote that whole article to say that decor on the pockets helps hide a fat butt. Period. But, there is another side to the story she did not discuss. First some butts are so damn big that 18 wheeler reflector lamps on the pockets is not gonna make it look thinner. Secondly, and something she completely misses in her analysis is what men look at, what draws our attention. We look at ladies butts in the same manner we shop for fishing lures. We dont actually look for what is more likely to catch a fish. We gawk at the bright and shiny (check it out next time you are in Bass Pro and see how brightly displayed the fishing lures are). The point being if you have a fat, flat, billboard, butt or any combo of the above, jewels on the pockets draw attention to that. I have heard recently in a restaurant in Simpson county comment on a waitress walking by wearing all these bedazzled stones on her rear pockets, Some things just should not be advertised. And he said it with full intent of all the men in the surrounding area laughing about it. Now, its a common fact that women dress for other women (because when you get right down to it, we men dont care). The men who actually are concerned with what the pockets on the butt of your jeans looks like, is not interested in you or any other woman. So, the smart thing to do here would be to assess your own behind (please dont ask you lying spouse to help with this) and decide if you need to dress it down like Sinatra or make it the center of attention like Elvis.
