Job Details Job ID: Job Title: Internal audit specialist Department: Internal audit Report to: Internal audit and risk manager 2. Job Summary The Internal Audit specialist is responsible for implementing the audit plan and program for one part or more of the audit sessions ( finance , operations , IT , compliance , … ) and conducting periodic monitoring for our operations to ensure compliance with our policies and regulations, and, where appropriate, corresponding laws and regulations . He can also act in an advisory role to recommend possible risk aversion measures and cost savings that could be made. 3. Scope of Supervision •Not applicable 4. Key Accountabilities Managerial Accountabilities :Not applicable Operational Accountabilities: •Identify audit gap by conducting audit assessment checklist on a regular basis across business functions such as processes, policies, workflows etc. •Preparing reports, documenting findings and making recommendations. •Conducting presentations on findings to the audit manager. •Investigating fraud. •Review the suitability of internal controls with audit manager. •Testing compliance with policies and procedures. •Maintain a strong internal control environment at the regions and may be out of the country, Travels to our clubs could estimate to be approximately 25-30%. 5. Key Relationships External: NONE Internal: Audit manager, Audit coordinator 6. Behavioral and Functional Competencies Behavioral Competency • Understanding of information technology and ability to use various applications and systems. • Strong time management skills and the ability to work within a team as well as independently. • Self-motivation, determination and confidence in his abilities • Problem-solving skills • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure • Good IT skills. • Show good judgment in the conduct of work Functional Competency Strong and proven business background Keen analytical ability Amendable manner for interviewing and investigating Conviction and confidence to make recommendations based on findings. Knowledge of audit methodology and internal controls. 7. Qualifications • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required, Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred. 8. Experience • 3+ years of work experience in finance or accounting, one year at least in audit field. 9.
