Since last December, I have been strategically analyzing the situation in Ukraine. Staying up on the latest developments and writing on possible scenarios as to develop key insights into the ongoing conflict. I strongly urge G-7 to find a way toward peace. As of this moment, I urge NATO to deny admission of Ukraine into the organization. As this would most assuredly set us up for war. Once a member is a part of NATO, defense treaties are in effect. If Ukraine joins NATO, an attack against Ukraine is attack on us all. We would have to retaliate through war. The same treaties of defense made World War 1 & 2 inevitable. That is not to say that we do not support Ukrainians right to existence. We have supported Ukraine throughout the entire conflict and continue to reassure that we stand by the country. Yet, we must realize that the path that the United States, Russia, and Europe is a path toward mutual destruction. We must realize that the Cold War never died and the past is haunting us today. Through mistrust and anger toward one another over old wounds that never healed. Though the dialogue be cold, though hostilities and mistrust are on the rise, though we stand on the brink of our own destruction, we must pull together through once more. We must look in the mirror at ourselves though it be easy to criticize and condemn the other side. Today, after analyzing the events of the situations that happened throughout the last two weeks and making projections, one of my projections came to haunt me. That one being Lithuanian Presidents remarks today. youtube/watch?v=O1vyuYaxhvY No, President Grybauskaite was not particularly a part of the scenario, but her words were.
