Since the number of people who have nominated me for this challenge has now become too large to be ignored and football is my fav sport, here goes my list of ten favorite football players in no particular order. 1. Ronaldo Nazário de Lima for making me love the game. 2. Frank Lampard for making the most of his potential and remaining humble. 3. Andrea Pirlo for the beard and contributions to Italian football. 4. John Terry for performing against all odds. 5. Lionel Messi for striving to be the best. There will be nobody like him. 6. Andres Iniesta only he can score against Chelsea and bring some sort of smile to my face. 7. Arjen Robben for finally scoring in the UCL final and overcoming ghosts of the past. One of the finest wingers in the game currently. 8. Alessandro Del Piero for showing us that a Gentleman never leaves his lady. Finest example of loyalty. 9. Phillip Lahm for his new found versatility, quiet and firm leadership. 10. Didier Droga for scoring the most important goal in Chelseas history.
