Sister Wedding- Travel after applying OPT OPT/CPT Blast Resume to 2500+ employers via bit.ly/18niNwb I am a Masters student and applied for OPT in November and went to India on November 24th and came back to USA on 24th December.My OPT start date is February 9. I am planning to visit India again for sisters wedding from January 20- January 30th. 1. Is it safe to travel to India and return before OPT start date? I have a valid visa. Also I have to register 1 credit hour for thesis as I didnt graduate on paper as I have to submit thesis report but I am done with my thesis defense last semester. If anyone has come across this situation then kindly let me know.
