Slavoj Zizek is a charlatan and a fraud. Genuine Marxists have known this from the start. But here is concrete proof of his charlatanry. He is caught red-handed engaged in cut and paste plagiarism from an article published in the white supremacist publication American Renaissance. The cut-and-paste plagiarism runs on for paragraphs. This should be more than enough to revoke his tenure, terminate his lecture circuit and end his superstar status in ignominy. The most delicious part of the entire affair? The plagiarism was uncovered because the passages actually made sense, unlike the usual Zizek garbage. The original site linking to his article said Zizek achieves a higher degree of clarity than they had ever seen. A commenter noted that the clarity was weird, like he copy-pasted the passages.
