Smile Education and Development Foundation ၀န္ထမ္းေလ်ွာက္လႊာေခၚယူျခင္း Smile Education and Development Foundation, established in 2007, is a non-profit education institute based in Yangon, Myanmar that focuses on providing affordable education programs for youth, women, and civil society leaders. We seek to provide access to education for those who are economically disadvantaged and to foster our students to become community leaders. Our organization aims to establish Community Learning Centers (CLCs) throughout the country where we can develop strong communities through providing resources and venues for educational services. Currently we have CLCs established in Yangon and Mandalay, and will soon be implementing a new center in Taunggyi. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic person to fill the following position. This position is full time and starts as soon as possible. Position Title : Project Coordinator Number of Post : Two Duty Station : Yangon Reports to : Manager Duties and Responsibilities • Writing & Editing of monthly news letter • Manage all training activities such as monthly workshop and regular English class • Creation of training designs and consultation with resource personnel • Assist trainer during trainings or workshops • Networking with volunteer teachers and field experts • Reporting of all projects activities • Filling various forms upon the request of partner organizations and donor organizations • Assist in Proposal and Grant writing • Monitoring & Evaluation Training • Assisting Program Management • Design Work plan , action plan • Frequent management of social media Required Skills and Qualifications • Holds Bachelor Degree • At least one year project management experience, preferably working on capacity building training • Excellent facilitation skills and knowledge of participatory teaching methodology • Good command of written and spoken English and Myanmar • Good understanding of community empowerment and ability to work with different ethnic background • Independent, result- oriented and team player • Preferred interest in organization mission and vision How to Apply If you are interested to apply for this position please submit Cover Letter and Resume through via email to smile.education.myanmar@gmail or send hard copy to #351, 7th Floor, Shine Tower, Thein Phyu Road, Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon not later than September 22, 2013.
