Smoking, a nasty habit/ bondage that brings to your life- sickness and death. I can say I struggle. The one verse that stands out is Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fallen short of glory ( beware of the mean man, he knows those words too and just what to say to cause you to go back to that pig pen ).. So I can smoke and go on living life like this.. NO!! You cant justify sin when the Lord has this calling on your life!! The Lord said to change so He can use you, your life, the testimony, His miracles in your life and much more to reach others. How can you be a living testimony and be in filthy rags? You cant...strive to be Christ like. Go and SIN NO MORE is what He taught.. Dont allow the mean man to try to justify any sin. All are covered under the blood of Jesus- but dont walk all over His blood when He is trying to reach you and change you. Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of Gods throne.
