So ... Deacon is in his crate and stands up staring at us intently. He WANTS something. After we get it we let him out and he goes to his toy box and gets a piece of rawhide - his latest toy. He comes and sits by me and gives me the stare. Then he goes to Kitty and gives her the stare. He WANTS something. He walks around the coffee table a few times with a low rumbling growl and muffled bark. We just arent getting it. Then when he sees us watching he goes into the kitchen and down the hall to the back door (entrance to the screened in porch). Then he comes back to us - sits down, (muffled growl and low bark). Then he goes back to the back door. He wants out on the screened in porch where we put him for the morning broadcast (dont want his barking to interrupt bible study dont you know). So I get up and he follows me to the back door and I let him on the screened in porch. He sits down looking at me. He WANTS SOMETHING. I return to the living room leaving the back door open. He follows me in (rawhide toy in his mouth this whole time). He growls again. He wants US on the back porch with him. So we gather up our things and out to the screened in porch. He is happy - and sits at the door to the house guarding it because he wants US out here with him for company. Whos in charge here anyway?
