So. Here is an update on the Girl Guide situation. Last night I spent 2 hours helping 12 girls with making the flower block for their quilt. I was mistaken about the child who will receive this. She is not ill, but her mother is, and the Guides wanted to let the former member know that they are thinking about her. (Last word is that Mom is being admitted to the local hospice for her last few weeks). Last week the Guides made snowman blocks, and then I took them home and put the quilt top together. Last night they did there flower blocks. So here the snowman side, and all the blocks except 1 for the flower side. I will put them together today, and add the borders. Then sandwich the 2 sides and quilt it. We hope to have it delivered to the recipient by Monday next week. Also below is a picture of my sewing room window - solid frost! That is what happens when you have an old house with single pane windows.
