So I am asking for you support and sign this petition and lets over ride the 43rd Circuit and bring back OUR RIGHTS. The 43rd Circuit has set up a supervision program that charges a monthly fee while you are out on bond. The program was set up as a non profit corporation by the judges of the circuit with articles filed with the Sec of State. If you are ultimately found not guilty, the fee paid to the supervision service is not returned. As an example, if it takes 18 months for your felony case to go to trial and you are found not guilty, you will not get any of the bond supervision fee back. It can be up to $100/month, or $1800 in this example. That does not include the actual bond or any other associated fees. The last audit that was done on this organization showed that they had over $400,000 in cash on hand. The question is should judges be controlling an organization where revenue is generated from the judges decision to allow bond.
