So I hear my ex is slamming me for a haircut I took my daughter for on the weekend. I need to set the record straight, since he is too stubborn & pig-headed to listen to me, and I hear hes airing his displeasure on facebook. First thing, she got the haircut SHE wanted, and she was happy with it when it was done...and from the sounds of it, was still happy with it...until you opened your mouth about it. Youre just pissed because it isnt what YOU wanted. Oh well. Shes almost 14 and I thought it was time she got something SHE wanted done with her hair instead of going with YOUR strict regime. I was her age when I finally got to make choices about my own hair. It is only hair after all, and it will grow back. And 2nd of all, I took her to a kids salon because it was recommended by a friend. Obviously, you cant please everyone, and people will find fault with something even if its practically perfect. Some people just look for reasons to complain about something. And most of the time, its to deflect people from seeing their faults. All I can say is opinions are like assholes - everyone has one, and some stink worse than others. Thats why I dont pay much attention to opinions.
