So, I set my alarm for 6 mins later last night. No big deal, 5.30 v 5.24. You think? Ran around the corner in my Mary Janes this morning to see the bus go past the end of the street. Resolutely, I put on my running shoes (for my lunchtime run) at the bus stop, stuffed my jacket into my backpack that now resembled a small refrigerator, saddled up and ran across the suburbs to the station, where I missed my train by 2 mins... The moral of the story, only change your alarm by 4 mins, max. Even if the track and field is on overnight.
