So I was driving down Romence Rd. Today... When I saw a Turkey along the fence line. I felt kind of bad for the guy because his mate was on the other side of the fence. Even passing at 35 miles an hour, I could tell he really wanted to be on the other side of the fence, and in the... Feathers? of his loved one. As I drove on to pick up my latest goodie, I contemplated the challenges that would be associated with catching that fella, and getting him safely over the barbed wire fence. After all, turkeys need lovin too! Well, I finished my pick-up and was driving back when I saw the two Fowl Love-birds staring at each other though the chain link. I enjoy both a challenge, and adventure, so I pulled the truck off the road and surveyed the area a little more. Less than 50 from the two estranged gobblers I noticed some rail road tracks cutting thought the fence. I knew the gates there would have some gaps, and I figured a horny bird ought to be able to make that work if he were properly motivated in the right direction. Im sure you can picture me walking along a fence after a long work-day. Not only was I gobbling at the two perplexed birds, but I was telling one of them how he was a dumbass for landing on the wrong side of the fence to begin with. In any case, the two birds were smart enough to go where I told them, and he easily slipped under the fence just as I had planned. Ahhh.. Cheap entertainment.
