So Im sitting here at the kitchen counter with my laptop... The kitchen counter on which I have made it clear (via use of the Dread Squirt Bottle, when necessary) that the cats are Not Allowed. And Hector is sitting on the stool next to me (watching me type, because he finds computer screens fascinating). So he tries to get up on the counter, and I sharply tell him NO. He gets back down. Then he just tries RESTING his front paws on the counter, because just RESTING them on the counter is okay, right, right? Hector, NO. He gets down. So then he tries just putting ONE foot on the counter, bceause just ONE foot is okay, right, huh, right? Hector, NO. So then he tries just putting his chin on the counter, its just his CHIN, thats okay, right/ Hector, NO. So then he tries LEANING against the counter, because hes just LEANING against it, hes not ON it, so thats okay, right? Hector, NO. So now hes sitting on his stool with his paws stretched out to rest on ME. Which isnt against any house rules, so, okay. I am exhausted.
