So Ive been getting calls from random numbers 2, sometimes 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days a week, and this has been going on for a couple months. Before the smartass Pay your bills, assjack comments roll in, yes, I pay my debts. I did some research, and cardholder services is a throwback to scam telemarketing from 2012*. Ive answered a couple times, and tried to get off their list, and I was told Id be taken off. Today, the phone rang, I answered, waiting through the robotic voice, and when a woman picked up the phone, this is the conversation we had: Telemarketer: Hi, are you calling to lower your interest rates? Me: No. Telemarketer: Well next time we call, dont hit the number 1. Me: Well can you take me off this list? Telemarketer: No, hahaha! *click* Ordinarily, Im a student of the Clausewitzs absolute warfare doctrine*, but in the nature of my legal defense, I think I should stop short of terrorist threats, stalking, and physical violence, though I will entertain all suggestions. I think Ill start with a foghorn to the microphone next time they call.
