So Kyle just got some bad news. There were 207 people in his class and AIT training only had room for 200 for this go around with National Guard getting priority for AIT training. Kyles last name being Wong put him as one of the last on the list and sure enough worst came to worst and now he will sit there for almost 2 MONTHS doing absolutely nothing. I really dont understand. They cant make room for an additional 7 people? Instead he will just sit in a dorm doing nothing. This also means his AIT graduation wont be in February anymore. Im bummed out for him. I wouldnt want to sit there for 2 months waiting for training but as we learned with all the confusion and being told the wrong things countless time in our short visit that confusion is the norm and hurry up and wait is the theme of the Army. lol
