So Sarah Reando challenged me to the 10-book challenge a while ago and I just got around to it. Roguhly chronologically, in no order of importance, are the 10 books that stuck with me the most since Ive been able to read. Having been a reader since I was a kid, this was a tough list to make! 1.) Henrys Awful Mistake, by Robert Quackenbush 2.) The Velveteen Rabbit, by Margery Williams 3.) The whole Time Life Childs First Library of Learning series 4.) The first few in the Wheres Waldo series, by Martin Handford 5.) The I Spy series by Jean Marzollo and Walter Wick 6.) The Childrens Book of Virtues, by William Bennett 7.) Suburban Nation, by Andres Duaney, et al. 8.) Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo 9.) Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke 10.) The Self-Sufficient Life and How to Live It, by John Seymour Since everyone I know has done this already, Ill tag you if you want, but otherwise leave it vacant.
