So all my car friends. We purchased a Ford Explorer today. It is a 93, and needs some work (mostly cosmetic). I am looking SO forward to this project. If any of my friends are Ford folks, then I would appreciate you to be on the look out for a radio (factory or aftermarket), interior panel for both front doors (or someone who can help me attach the factory ones cause I have them), power window system, or a way to get 2 of the windows up, seat cover, someone who knows about AC, a hood (preferably black) that is not faded bad. It is burning a touch of oil and coolant, but not bad. It only has 104,000 miles on it. It does have a slight hesitation problem, seems to be the throttle definitely fuel related and not tranny. Suggestions where to go, and Emmitt Letner I will be coming to see you for tires. I would like to eventually get wheels for it too. This will be a LONG process to get everything. Right now just the basics so that we can gig with it. #gigmobile #loveit
