So back in 1986 I took a CPR course after work and then took the metro to my French class at LEnfant Plaza. As the escalator rose, I saw something odd at the top. A womans body with a huge stomach. People ahead of me were stepping over her. I bent over her and started pounding on her chest as I had just learned. A voice squeaked out, Stop... it. Stop... it. I ran to the kiosk and said to the man, Call 911. Theres a woman passed out by the escalator. Big woman? he asked. White? I nodded. He said, Oh, thats just Mrs. Rigsby. She does that every day. When we take Metro training, theres an entire lesson on her.
