So, here is a update on what my agenda is at this point.. Anybody who knows me knows that could very well that this could all change tomorrow.. But as of now Im planning on doing mainly weekday shows in Heppner for awile. I work weekends, so in order to do these shows i have to take time off work. I love playing my home town but honestly i feel like I have been playing her to much as of late and focusing all my music time and energy to playing here in Heppner, I miss playing out of town so much and i have been doing so well playing in the city with my band.. But i still have some Awesome things in store for you guys coming up i will post further down this update.. But in order here is what i have going on.. Febuary 7th i will be Joined by Dan Infecto and Jim Leslie at Tony Vs garage in Everett, WA with Angie and the Car Wrecks, More America, and Jack Rainwater.. The next night on Febuary 8th I will be at Tims Tavern in Seattle. I may or may not have the band with me that night. That night i will be playing with a bunch of Splatterhouse Wreckords family. Hard Money Saints, Hot Roddin Romeos, The Load Levelers and more will be their for that one.. As of now Im going to take march off because i have a busy April planned. So Wednesday April 2nd At Bucknums The return of The Legenary Owen Mays, He will be with the Ditch Runners, and Joining them will be Whiskey Dick, Im looking Forward to that show big time.. The weekend of April 25th I will be playing Probably my biggest gig to date.. I will be flying to Chicago to play The Moonrunners Music Festival Headlining is Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter,Thats the son and wife of Waylon Jennings, also playing will be Official Roger Alan Wade you can check out his music on jackass he also does a radio show on serious radio on the outlaw country channel with Johnny Knoxville this is a 2 day fest filled with some of the best music of today and i can not be more excited to play this show.. Mr Ian Booyaki From Highlonesome, and Last False Hope will be joining me on bass for that set, along with a mystery guitar player.. by mystery i mean i dont know who yet.. I will more than likely take may off because my brother in arms and co host of Dog Water Radio Jody Maddern has asked me to be the best man in his wedding so thats kind of a big deal. After that on Wednesday June 24th at Bucknums my Good buddy and band mate when iam lucky enough to have him join me Billy Cook will return to Heppner with the Very Talented Gram Graham Lindsey... Sooooooooooooo now for something i am very excited for a change of pace for Heppner and myself.. We wanted to do this last year but it with new owners of the bar, me working on my album and starting it got sweept under the rug and One of the Owners of Bucknums brought it up again so god damn it im gonna make it happen.... either late July or early August in the back parking lot of Bucknums we are going to have a few bands come and have a big shindig.. We will bull a flat bed Trailer up, get some lights, maybe a beer garden. all the details are still not for sure yet but we will make it happen somtime this summer.. Any touring bands coming through late summer hit me up.. im going to try to do five bands.. Pay will be a little lower than norm on account of it being more bands but it will be fun and worth the stop..also any seattle bands or PNW bands hit me up if you would like to come play.. Thats it for now. im sure more shit will be coming along..
