So here it is 3:27 am, and Im still up. Yesterday August 8th would have been my moms 73rd birthday. Well I can tell you that its been going on 3 years since our mom left us to be with the Lord and I must be honest.....My life has not been the same since. Even to this very moment, my emotions are still getting the best of me. If God could grant me 2 wishes they would be 1. Give me back my mom & daddy, and 2. Save my entire family (Salvation) so that when our name is called, then we will all be ready to answer. I dont want silver or gold, I dont want all of the money in the world, and even though mom & dad both accepted Christ as their Lord & Savior, I cant nor will I worry about their souls for Im sure they are with the Father. But there is the second wish that I pray constantly about. That is that my remaining immediate family members find HIM while HE can still be found. Then we can all be together again in Glory. My dad believed strongly in the power of prayer, and so did our mom. Im a firm believer that even now the prayers that are great-great grandparents as well as our parents prayed for us when we were tots is still covering and catching up to us now. Well anyway I put together this little slide show about my mom as my tribute to her on her birthday. If I can give those who still have your parents any advice, it would be to love them to the best of your ability-unwavering!! Be Blessed!!
