So heres where were at right now. We have been on such a high here, cruising along without complications other than a fever and low platelets and hemoglobin. He did need a platelet transfusion today. Today, at the clinic visit, the Dr told us they are concerned that Grants bone marrow is not recovering in the time they wouldve liked to see. His last dose of chemo was January 6th, so its a little longer than they like. This may be caused by one of two things. First, and the worst case, is that his marrow is producing cancer cells and secondly, it could be a viral suppression. Meaning the fevers he had the last two weeks couldve suppressed his marrow because he had to fight some type of viral infection. Grant knows this and he has an amazingly positive attitude. He feels really good and he is eating well. We prayed over Grant tonight, all of us. We claimed, in Jesus name that Grant is cured. Maybe not today or next week, but at the end of this 3 year journey that maybe God wants us to go through. I ask ALL of you to continue your prayers for my son. Tomorrow at 11:30 he will be having a bone marrow biopsy to determine what is going on. They tell us we should have the results by Thursday. Pray for a bone marrow suppressed by viral illness, pray for me and Erik and Devyn for strength and calming of nerves over the next two days. Thank you to all of you.
