I am in awe that, decades after childhood, I have an incredible mother who still drives me to doctors offices and pharmacies, and feeds and takes care of me and plays with the kids even when she is surely exhausted, all after working for weeks to create a magical holiday family celebration here in the mountains that memories are made of. It is the biggest gift anyone could ever ask for. I may not be physically at my best this week, but my heart is spilling over.
