So, last night I thought the stomach bug hit my house since my son woke up last night severely ill out of nowhere. He was burning up, vomiting, sweating, shaking, had an earache, his skin was discolored, sniffly, coughy and was crying. I took his temp, 102.1...gave him some meds and he fell asleep...he tossed and turned profusely all night long, he went from the bed to the couch to the floor...He woke up this morning and was complete glazed over, had a slight temp, complained about his ear, body tremors and chills...I gave him a nice bath, new PJs and back to rest, plenty of fluids...Something was different here, my son was so fatigued he could barely move...He couldnt explain what hurt, what didnt hurt, he was confused...Off to the pediatrician we go!! People, I ask you to all diligently look for out of the ordinary symptoms for the so-called stomach bug. Delano was diagnosed with one of the highest strains of influenza, possibly in the H3N2v family (Influenza A/Swine Flu) worse than H1N1...google it...this strain outbreak is multiplying at a rapid rate and can be fatal. There are already family members that have tested positive within the last 24 hours...hes resting now and will be admitted to the hospital if his symptoms do not change..Thank God for a mothers instinct...Send him some love and prayers if you can, to cheer him up...
