So, last night I was worried that Jax would wake up today feeling rough after getting 3 different forms of chemo yesterday. The last dose was right before he went to bed. It was one he had never taken and it was the first dose we had ever given at home (causing this Mom to have a mini meltdown). He moaned off and on through the night, which caused me to worry even more. But, NOW, I am super excited to share that he woke up SMILING, asking for hugs, and wanting to snuggle in mommys comfy bed! YAY! Major progress from where we were this time last week. I am so relieved to see him somewhat back to normal. He is up playing. His cheeks and stomach are significantly smaller since the steroids have stopped. Oh, and his mood is MUCH better.
