So last night at around 11:00 pm I pull out of our office parking lot turning right. I see that I have a clear opening in traffic and pull out. As I look back to the right there is a woman in the bike lane coming at me. She had no lights, no reflectors, was dressed in black and the lighting there is almost nonexistent. Heidi is right behind me and I have no way to warn her. The cyclist made no attempt to slow and Heidi almost hits her. Heidi said the cyclist actually gave her a dirty look. Im sorry had this cyclist been hit and hurt by Heidi, Heidi would have felt horrible. The problem is, this would have been 100% the cyclists fault. Im all for share the road, but you Boise bicycle riders need to follow the rules of the road. You are a vehicle on the road. Boise PD needs to start ticketing bicycle riders for the bicycle riders safety. The bicycle riders must follow the vehicle rules when riding on the road or they end up putting themselves in danger.
