So my dearest friend Clydene Nee is having some serious health issues and top of that, is getting the high hat from the Insurance regarding bills stemming from Kidney Failure. I owe a lot of things in my career to Clydene, namely she gave a young 22 year old Monte Moore a spot in Artists Alley at the 1995 Comic Con in San Diego, and that launched my freelance career. Years later she gave me some key advice....which later landed me my first officially licensed Star Wars gig. On top of that, she steered me away from being a digital comic book colorist, and told me Id be wasting my creative energies if I went that direction, instead of becoming a fantasy/pin-up painter. She has never steered me wrong, and has my utmost respect. There is going to be a fund raiser for Clydene, and I will be donating a Painting for her insurance gap funding efforts, and I urge to you post, share and or donate a little extra jingle from you pocket if you can. Clydene has DONATED her time to the San Diego Comic Con ARTISTS ALLEY for many many DECADES, and is responsible for launching literally countless careers like mine...if you can...show a little support for someone...who has supported so many just like me!
