So now that she has fewer seizures and a mind of her own (not drugged to near comatose by barbituates and benzos), we have fairly normal TEMPER TANTRUMS sometimes when we say NO or when mama dares to leave her side! She has complete ownership of me. In a way I think she is terrified amd wide eyed when I leave her - she knows that many times her life has depended on me. If i dare to leave her sight even in capable hands, the switch flips from sweet smiling little girl to yelling for mama flipped out tantrum of a developmentally 2-4 year old in a 12 year old model size! Not sure whether to laugh, cry or both! I love that she finally can process that the world around her has changed, that she can choose yes, no or maybe, but oh boy is she determined and strong!! Somedays I just want to scream back!!! Blahhhhhhhhhhhh! Lol.
