So people, especially those familiar with the DRZ400 charging system, we have finally got a multimeter to the circuitry on Lola. Current battery charge around 11.6V after riding the last 20km with nothing running on the bike. When throttle up around 3000ish rpm the voltage doesnt go above 12v the voltage at around 3000ish rpm on the terminals (red and black that lead away from the reg/rec is around 5.5V The voltage from the 3 yellow wires coming away from the stator to earth is between 5 and 6 volts on each one. Resistance between the the 3 wires is around 0.7 ohms there is no continuity between any of the 3 yellow wires and the the engine cases. Advice please. we think the stator is cooked can people confirm for us??
