So, please forgive me folks, but I had an awful thought. Ya know how the writers of The Legend of Korra pulled a #Jet last week (Ya know, it was really unclear) as to whether #Tenzin was killed or not? Well, Im starting to think more and more that Tenzins death is a very real possibility. I mean, think about it. #Zaheer already said that he wanted to take out the leaders of the nations all over the world, and Tenzin is the leader of the nation of Air Nomads. Combine that with the fact that #Unalaq was revealed to have been #RedLotus (and had an obsession with #Vaatu and other spirits), and now Zaheer comes along and wants #Korra for some reason that he has yet to reveal. I think Zaheer and Unalaqs plans are related. In fact, they might be nearly identical plans, with Zaheer adding a bit more of a murderous touch, because hes him. See, Unalaq just wanted to become the #DarkAvatar. Zaheer, on the other hand, would probably want to bring forth Vaatu again to become the Dark Avatar, but THEN do something to provoke Korra into the #AvatarState to kill her, thus ending the line of #Raava-Avatars. And how would he provoke Korra to an intense emotional condition, required to unlock the Avatar State? Kill someone very close to her. By killing Tenzin, hed be killing two birds with one stone: getting rid of an influential leader (which he hates) and provoking Korra into a reckless rage (to complete the rest of his plan). Though, if this is how it ends up, I sincerely dont think that well just be left with a group of grieving #Airbenders. I think that, if Tenzin is killed, Korra is gonna come back with a vengeance. Not only would she go into the Avatar State and hand ALL of the Red Lotus members butts to them, but shed send them fleeing (for fear of death), and then, in their absence, work with #Bumi to start training the new Airbenders in a much more powerful and aggressive style. And if you have your doubts, I think the names of the episodes make it quite clear: #IntoTheVoid (#Nick has its way about using metaphors other than saying somebody dies), and #TheVenomOfTheRedLotus (somebody has been tainted or poisoned with a perspective similar to the brutal and vengeful tactics of the #OrderOfTheRedLotus). Of course, part of me hopes Im wrong, because I really love Tenzins character, and the #AirNomads are meant to be peaceful. Though, theres always Book 4 for Korra and Bumi to see that violence is not the answer, and to reform the Air Nomads back into effective nonviolent bending masters, in honor of Tenzin and #Aang before him. In the meantime, though, wed get a nation of stealthy, acrobatic, ninja-like wind-warriors. And dang, if that wouldnt make for good TV. ~Shadowulf
