So, since I never experienced elementary public school, I wanted to see what it was like. Just curious to what my kids, one day, would experience. I have always had a respect for teachers. I have always felt led to pray for them, so I did and still do. But after observing in a class with a remarkable teacher, I am amazed by the work the teachers do. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect. The day was wonderful being with the kids as I watched them learn, hearing what they have learned, and seeing the many transitions from one subject to another. The kids were really great. Some teachers really know how to train their students. Seeing the love, patience, and passion the teacher has for those students creates a higher level of wowness I have for them. It challenged me to be a better teacher at church, a stronger mother in the future, and ways to correct, guide, and respond to the kids and situations. I wasnt even the one teaching and My brain hurt. I thought, Geez, their brain is constantly having to think of the now and what they will teach next. Yikes! They go home exhausted because of brain overload! I went in to see what the kids experience daily, and I came out with a new perspective and a deeper passion for the astounding teachers. They put in so much time and effort before and after school hours. You are underpaid but greatly appreciated! With all my heart I say thank you!
