So this week has been terrible. I attended a fatal car accident on weds, and on Friday Kes helped rescue a drowning class mate on a school trip to the beach. Then last night my dog Oliver ended up having emergency surgery for a huge abscess on his neck that appeared from no where. However, today we heard that the child who was resuscitated for 20 minutes by two young male teachers has survived, and looks as if will make a full recovery. Huge relief to all, and hopefully lessens the trauma to Kes who thought she had watched him die. Oliver is also home, with an open wound draining on his neck and feeling a bit miserable, but should also make a full recovery. Phew
