So today didnt quite turn out how I had it planned. Ash had to have a TB test for her new job. Needles are not her favorite thing but she was a big girl and went by herself. She was so impressed that she did good. She texted me one minute to tell me that she had to pay. One minute later, as she went to pay, she tried to tell the lady she was passing out, but she couldnt get to her fast enough. She fell straight back, hitting her head so hard on the floor that they heard it down the hall. Six nurses and a doctor were quickly to her aid. They called me, but I didnt recognize the number, and I was teaching, so I ignored it. As soon as it stopped ringing, her cell phone was calling me. You know, you just know when somethings not right so I answered it. They needed us to get her to the ER to check out her head. Austin could get to her first so he grabbed her and met Stan and I at the ER. All types of tests were run. Her blood pressure dropped to 87/37 when trying to stand. She had two more episodes of lightheadedness...nausea....etc. They were confused and telling us that she was not safe so they were more than likely admitting her, or transferring her. After 2 bags of IV fluid, some nausea meds, some dizziness meds....everything regulated. All bloodwork was clear, as well as the CT scan. So now we are off to a neurologist. What a day what a day! When I got home, everything hit me all at once. Surely hoping that tomorrow is a little more peaceful! I can handle the stress of hospitals when I know what is wrong - you know all the breathing troubles visits weve had, the gall bladder episode, etc. This unknown is getting the best of me! So let me get some lesson plans together for tomorrow and say my prayers. Phone calls to make in the morning.....
