So we had a moment this evening that we will always remember. As I am cooking supper, Ty yells a not so appropriate word. The cat has got a large (3 foot) snake in her mouth that isnt dead. He screams to get something to kill it with. I am petrified of snakes. He heads to the garage to get a shovel, it is in the shed and we must pass snake to get to it...Not happening! So I find a hoe, give it to him and he says you do it. Meantime, Brody is crying because he thinks snake is going to hurt the cat. So I put on my big girl panties... Me with hoe, Ty with golf club and we head out in pouring rain. The cat thinks we are taking her live toy, picks it up and runs with it...uggg. Bites her, she drops it and now Im supposed to kill it. So Ty throws 5 things at it... And finally I take a swing(about 10 of them) kill it and we have mud all over both of us. Come inside and Ty says arent you glad I helped you fight your fear! Really, my fear... how about our fear, tough guy!
