So we woke up this morning and Lawson got to choose where we ate and what we ate for breakfast :) Village Inn was his choice for the Mickey Mouse pancakes :) I love how he wants to sit by me and hold my hand while we eat, but through this I hear the couple behind me talking about their trip to lowes. Then the waiter comes out and says Im sorry folks (the couple behind us) the cook ACCIDENTALLY didnt add something important to the meal that is on the advertisement cause its his first day on a new menu item so they comped the entire meal and said your food will be out in about 5 min! 5min later here it came! Then after he came back and apologized again and said your good to go have a great day can I get you anything before and once again I apologize ! They said nope it was great thank you :-) both smiling!!! Then he says leave whatever you want to his wife so she did ! $3 !!!!! Wtf is wrong with you that you had excellent service they comped your entire meal and you leave $3 to the guy that fought to get said meal comped ??? I held it in as long as I could then the waiter came around the corner I looked at him and said thats bullshit and stepped over Lawson and the waiter tried to stop me with no luck I walked outside in front of easily 10 people coming in and said, they comped your entire meal and you leave $3 for the server that btw isnt the cook you idiots! Hes the one back there getting the damn thing comped anyways and thats the thanks he gets ? Really ??? You comp my wouldve been $20 etc meal and youll get a $20 tip in return !!! They looked at me I said you just created your own karma congrats dont worry Ill take care of it as they drive off in a major POS grand am ! Ive had this happen many times give something for free get a we dont care $3 in return its pathetic and if this is you shame on you you are part of the problem not the solution ! Ok rant over on with the day watching robocop with Lawson :-)
