So, went back to doctor number 1 today to let him know that I have decided to hold off on surgery and he respects my decision to go with conservative treatment but then proceeds to tell me how if my hip gets worse that Ill have no choice but to have a hip replacement. So different from the the Jewett doctor who feels that it is not even definitive AVN and to just be careful until I follow up. In the meantime, I am now the owner of a pair of crutches courtesy of doc number 1 and he wants me to use them all the time to relieve pressure on my hip. Ugh. I just dont know what to do.
