So when I was younger my sister and I would play a game where wed chase our older brothers from the kitchen downstairs all the way to their bedrooms upstairs while throwing dads old shoes at them. Theyd yell, Ahhhh!!!! Gremlins!!!! You guys will never catch us! And theyd hop to the top bunk and wed be in the doorway throwing these shoes back and forth at eachother....well one hit me in the face and we laughed and carried on. Afterwards we noticed I was missing my front tooth! So we searched everywhere and couldnt find it. Dad was so mad (he had no clue what we were doing besides dicking around) and we soon realized that I swallowed the tooth. Today has been around 4 months since my youngest older brother (does that make sense?..) has been working a steady job, keeping up with his own house, and living clean. Just wanted to say that were all very proud of you and how far youve come. You changed your life around completely and I know it was not easy at all but you did it and youre still doing it. You showed me that even in the lowest of our lows you can still persevere. My oldest brother has impacted my life so much.... We share ideas and opinions. We talk about our dreams and where well be 10 years from now. Rock star? ghost hunter? Who knows. He understands the things I go through and put up with. You taught me that its okay to go out on your own and discover, to not be afraid of whats out there. To live the life youve been given. Im saying all of this because in psychology today I was asked if I used my older brothers as role models. And I instantly said no, thinking that I didnt because they werent the best in school. Well, after thinking more into it Ive realized I was so wrong. You two have taught me so much I couldnt be more thankful to have you guys in my life. From playing silly games and fighting with eachother to coming together as a family to make it through all of those tough times I can honestly say I look up to you too. Miss & Love you both. -Rosie
