Soludos Essay I had initially waved this essay to the dustbin, after gleaning the little extras that my friend, Niyi Elegbeleye, in his characteristic APC manner have done copy and paste of the portion that suits his principal and political leaning. This I find very shameful and below your person my brother. However, I had an hunch hat I should look for the report and read it myself even if for academic exercise and cerebral development, I have always known Soludo to be a fine writer. His is another error why technocrats should not go into politics. Story for another day anyway! I found the report most balanced and sincerely for two or three areas I disagree with, this is natural, we are human, I recommend it for reading for both party and party members. If you truly love nigeria, you will agree with him on a lot of issues! Again the report is a testimony to the fact that we need strong institution! The governors while demanding for the sharing of the excess crude account and foreign reserve account(Pls note that the ECA is part of the component of the FRA) demonised GEJ, gave few brown envelopes to the shameful media houses, employed some e-rats and influenced the people to see it as the ideal thing to spend the money, had their way, and now the money has been spent. The same people are the one saying we cant defend the naira and the FRA has been depleted! Where they thinking the money came from GEJ blood or photocopies of what we kept in the acct? Illiterate friends of mine like you and you was part of the crowd too! Unfortunately their was no institutional structure for the president to lean on, as the law said every revenue should be shared among the three tier of government. So all court cases naturally favours the blood sucking, no future ambition governors led by the occult group called the governors forum! My vuvuzela friends did not know they are mortgaging their future! Now the bubble on our face! If institution and law has been strong the president would have had a backbone to fight back. The National Assembly would have helped but poor institution also, they where all thinking about constituent funds, a major cesspit of corruption/ settlement! Please find soludos full report, long but worth reading! theopinion.ng/buhari-vs-jonathan-beyond-the-election/ Enwerem Kelechi Tola Sodeinde Oketi James George Kerley Henry Chinedu Henry Omoregie Wemimo Oluwalade Lawal Hammed Oladipupo Deji Amos Bimbo OHezekiah Otunba Olatunji Adekunle Erinle Viola Ifeyinwa Okolie Olusoji Zion Oseni Awazie Chinomnso
