Some good food for thought my friends. Coincidently, Diane and I recently moved into a smaller house-we downsized. We are about to become empty-nesters and the large home that we built on several acres a decade ago now seemed impractical. My biggest fear was what people, even family, might think. Tonight one of the guys installing our new counter tops, who had also been to our old house, made an offhand comment about how tough the economy has been and it must have been hard to leave such a big beautiful house. Sometimes its our possesions that weigh us down. I need to get over what people think and people need to understand that some of us choose to simplify our lives.
