Some interesting stats about the 2015 contestants: There are 4 freshmen. There are 9 sophomores. There are 5 juniors. There are 2 seniors. One attends Agua Dulce HS. One attends Richard King HS. Three attend Banquete HS. One attends Bishop HS. Four attend Calallen HS. One attends Mary Carroll HS. Three attend Flour Bluff HS. One attends Orange Grove HS. Four attend Tuloso Midway HS. One attends London HS. No contestants from Robstown HS, West Oso HS, Port Aransas HS, county private high schools, or are home schooled. Six are representing FFA chapters while the others represent 4-H clubs. There are no FCCLA representatives. Talent will consist of 6 singers, 2 dancers, 5 speeches, 3 pianists, 1 trumpet, 1 ukulele, 1 flute, and 1 guitar. Four contestants are undecided about which college to attend. One hasnt decided between Aggieland and Baylor. One plans to attend UT. One wants to attend a culinary arts school. Four plan to attend TAMUK. One plans to attend Texas Tech. One plans to attend University of North Texas. One plans to attend Baylor. Six plan to attend Texas A&M. Contestants plan to be doctors, a detective, lawyer, work in culinary arts, physical therapist, engineers, agriculture economist, RN, musician, animal scientist, veterinarian, animal nutritionist, agriculturalists, and the state extension swine specialist. Some very lofty goals.......
